As a seasoned commercial professional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our industry. We are seeking an experienced leader to manage and develop vendor relationships, drive contract negotiations, and deliver on business objectives.

The Opportunity

This dynamic role involves working closely with senior stakeholders to understand long-term business goals and strategies. You will lead the development of new contracts, manage iterations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for complex negotiations and vendor remediation.

You will create and implement strategies to optimize partner service relationships, operationalize frameworks to monitor service agreements, and deliver on remediation plans to address regulatory requirements and high-risk audit findings.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with senior stakeholders to understand business goals and enable third-party relationships
  • Developing and managing new contracts, including complex negotiations and vendor remediation
  • Creating strategies to optimize partner service relationships and operationalizing frameworks to monitor service agreements
  • Fulfilling contract lifecycle management and administration of supply contracts

To succeed, you will demonstrate:

  • Ability to manage suppliers at senior management level to deliver high-performing supply chains
  • Effective stakeholder management to ensure clear communication and shared outcomes
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale IT outsourcing agreements
  • Sustained commercial benefits from renegotiations covering infrastructure and application managed services
  • Tertiary qualification in a Commercial/Business discipline and commercial experience in an enterprise or APRA-regulated environment
