
Strategic Vendor Manager

This strategic role is an opportunity to shape a healthier, better-protected market by managing outsourced agreements and external partner programs/project services across the technology portfolio.
You will be responsible for determining portfolio requirements, negotiating contract terms, and delivering on vendor management plans to balance value, performance, and risk.
This role requires engaging with senior stakeholders within the organization and its vendor network to understand long-term business goals that can be enabled by third-party relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Develop strategies to manage partner service relationships and operationalize frameworks to monitor service agreements.
- Develop and help deliver on remediation plans to address regulatory requirements and high-risk audit findings.
- Fulfill contract lifecycle management and administration of supply contracts.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Ability to manage and lead suppliers at senior management level to deliver high-performing supply chains.
- Stakeholder management that ensures clear communication and shared outcomes.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale IT outsourcing agreements utilizing standardized policy and procedure.
- Substantial and sustainable commercial benefits from (re)negotiations covering infrastructure and application managed services, software, hardware, and 'as a service agreements.'
You should hold a tertiary qualification, preferably post-graduate level in a Commercial/Business discipline and have commercial experience gained within the enterprise and/or regulated environment.
