Service Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team at Frizelle Sunshine Automotive. As a Service Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests receive exceptional customer service and resolution to their vehicle needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to our clients, creating positive first impressions and fulfilling promises.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and employees.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers to provide updates and ensure timely completion of vehicles.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless vehicle delivery.
  • Handle customer concerns and complaints with prompt and effective solutions.
  • Provide accurate estimates for additional work or repairs.
  • Be a champion of objections, finding positive outcomes for our customers.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain high customer service standards, meeting and exceeding our benchmarks.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role, such as banking or real estate.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A proactive and professional approach, with a focus on appearance and presentation.
  • Experience working in a department with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Knowledge of Pentana Solutions (Reynolds & Reynolds) is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to sell additional work and overcome objections.
  • A passion for creating memorable customer experiences.
  • Able to work autonomously, but thrive in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow, with a humble attitude when faced with challenges.
