National Manager APG Express Network

Linfox Intermodal is seeking a highly skilled National Manager to lead our APG Express Network, based in West Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable services for one of our major customers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to improve service performance, operational efficiency, and financial results.
- Enhance team culture, including staff and driver engagement, retention, safety, and values.
- Streamline operations and identify efficiencies to drive success across our Intermodal business.
- Collaborate with the customer to identify new or expanded opportunities to grow our share of wallet through provision of service excellence and collaboration in go-to-market activities.
- Provide customer service excellence in all aspects of the operation and offer high standards of integrity in service offerings, administration, and communication to customers.
- Communicate Intermodal's strategic priorities and ensure the team is clear on how this translates to individual roles and teams.
- Comply with Linfox requirements, policies, and procedures at all times, including the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Management System.
- 7+ years' experience in Transport operations environment and/or transport network planning environment.
- Significant experience in Leading Change and driving strategic goals.
- Operational experience, with significant knowledge of transport processes, compliance, and planning with demonstrable application of this knowledge.
- A strong understanding of transportation technology and optimisation tools to drive outcomes across the logistics and supply chain space.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the transport industry, transport equipment, and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain and transport optimisation and modelling/consulting methodologies with strong presentation and executive-level communication experience.
- Extremely strong understanding of transport operations and leading transition to leading or best practice end-to-end transport solutions, including last-mile route optimisation.
- Highly advanced Excel skills, data analytics tools, and good competency in general business software, inclusive of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
