Job Summary
The Senior Fashion Retail Leader will spearhead the commercial and operational leadership across the business, driving the brand's overall strategic direction while staying true to its purpose and pillars. This role requires strong people leadership capabilities, exceptional financial and omni-channel operational acumen, and in-depth fashion leadership experience within design-led apparel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a clear strategy and direction for the brand, acknowledging existing customers and identifying new customer bases that align with the brand DNA.
- Lead the execution of improved product, assortment, trends, fabrication, and silhouette to continually reposition the SABA brand as more desirable.
- Identify and deliver on new opportunities for growth, including new categories, marketing activities, and collaborations.
- Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to increase brand awareness, brand consideration, and customer acquisition, and create creative assets to support these strategies.
- Drive sales by trading stock to ensure the best return on investment and retain healthy covers.
- Oversee online performance for all SABA digital channels, including sales and profit budgets, traffic, conversion, and ATV growth.
- Effectively manage cash flow to exceed budgeted sales targets and budgeted gross profit targets, and identify and understand trends in trading results to prepare researched and well-reasoned re-forecasts and clearly defined strategy presentations.
- Create and cultivate a high-performing leadership team by having clear direction and alignment for each team member.
- Ensure all brand team members have a constructive working relationship with cross-functional teams.
- Support employee performance, ensuring high productivity, innovation, and creativity.
- Be a proactive and collaborative member of the APG & Co executive team.
Requirements
- Deep retail domain experience at a senior level.
- Exceptional team leadership skills.
- Proven ability to achieve sell-through and sales with strong product performance knowledge.
- High level of trading and commercial skills.
- Ability to identify new and maintain existing customers.
