Safety Compliance Specialist

This permanent role is instrumental in ensuring zero harm across the business. The Health Safety and Environmental Leader will oversee two sites, reporting directly to the General Manager, and be responsible for Health, Safety and environmental compliance across the business.
The successful candidate will lead by example and ensure all employees adhere to company policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing and maintaining Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental policies and procedures
- Monitoring employee Health & Safety regulations and legislative changes
- Ensuring timely setting and completion of safety KPIs
- Coordinating and conducting safety training
- Establishing long-term safety programs
- Reviewing safety aspects
- Managing workers' rehabilitation and compensation
- Conducting new employee safety inductions and assessments
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- A degree in a related field
- At least 10 years' experience in OHSE, manufacturing or engineering
