Job Title: HSEQ ProfessionalWe are seeking a proactive HSEQ professional to support clients engineering works program across Australia.You will work closely with site teams, contractors, and management to promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance at all times.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits for civil engineering projects to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them within civil engineering projects.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international health, safety, and environmental laws and standards relevant to civil engineering works.
  • Manage reporting and investigation of workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
  • Maintain detailed records of HSE inspections, audits, safety statistics, and incident reports. Prepare regular reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Support development and implementation of environmental protection and worker health programs to minimize risks associated with civil engineering work.
Qualifications:
  • Certification in NEBOSH or IOSH (minimum), further certifications in civil engineering or HSE beneficial.
Experience:
  • At least 3 years experience in an HSE role within the civil engineering or construction industry.
