Technical Expertise Opportunity
This role involves providing technical support for Airframe and Major Components on Boeing 787 aircraft.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Reviewing service literature from regulators and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
- Making strategic decisions on modification programs and overseeing their implementation
- Supporting the Reliability Program with system analysis and working with OEMs to improve aircraft performance
- Investigating safety-critical events and defects, and developing mitigating strategies
- Providing technical advice and AOG support to the Maintenance Operations Centre and Jetstar Part 145 AMO
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to manage fleet reliability and safety threats
To succeed in this position, you will need:
- A degree in Professional engineering or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
- Experience in a similar position or sufficient engineering/aviation experience
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Process-driven approach with experience in constructing new processes
- Highly motivated with a learning mindset
- Ability to build effective working relationships
