Job Role:

We seek a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our component maintenance team. This role involves utilizing expertise in Wheels and Brakes to ensure optimal performance.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and overhauling aircraft wheel assemblies and braking systems.

  • Inspecting and maintaining aircraft wheel assemblies and braking systems.
  • Repairing and overhauling aircraft wheel assemblies and braking systems.
  • Ensuring compliance with aviation safety standards.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
  • Prior experience working within components advantageous
  • Customer-focused approach with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely and adhere to all safety and compliance procedures
  • High attention to detail and ability to comply with Qantas Maintenance procedures
  • Ability to work under tight timelines with minimal supervision
