We are seeking a Vendor and Contracts Specialist to support key contracts across Procurement with a focus on ICT.

About the Role

This role is an exciting opportunity for a professional to join our team in Cannon Hill, supporting business-as-usual activities such as contract management, business inquiries, reporting, and transactional activities.

  • Supporting the implementation of executed contracts by managing contract documents and ensuring compliance with agreed practices and contractual terms.
  • Onboarding vendors and contracts into operations by coordinating stakeholders to develop processes and embed ways of working to better manage our key vendors.
  • Establishing processes and governance to be applied for the use of operational contracts and vendor engagements.
  • Facilitating and attending meetings with vendors and contract managers to discuss ongoing work and address any issues that may arise.
The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience performing a similar role for a medium to large organisation. Ideally in an ICT procurement and/or vendor management team.
  • Sound knowledge of best practice category, strategic sourcing, and contracting techniques to ensure good collaboration with the Procurement and Category leads.
  • Demonstrates strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills to ensure the clear and concise message is delivered.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to develop and implement solutions using a logical and systematic approach.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
