Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced ICT professional to lead the transition of ICT services for a long-term contract with a Federal Government client. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial management, project management, and stakeholder relationship management.

About the Role:

  • The ICT Project Manager will develop and implement a comprehensive ICT strategy that aligns with the agency's overall business goals and objectives.
  • This role involves overseeing and managing the transition of ICT services to ensure value for money, continuity of services, and implementation of a fit-for-purpose solution.
  • The successful candidate will provide strong and considered advice to stakeholders.
  • They will collaborate with business leaders across the agency to understand their technology needs and requirements.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, negotiating and managing contracts and agreements as needed is key to this role.
  • The ICT Project Manager must communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Ensuring the security and reliability of the agency's IT systems and data, and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and protect sensitive information is crucial.
  • This role also involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the ICT Operations team, including staff, budgets, and resources.

  • NV1 security clearance
  • Australian citizenship
