Are you an experienced ICT Project Manager with a strong background in public sector delivery and stakeholder engagement? We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead the transition of ICT services from an internal model to a shared services arrangement with another government department.
This role is critical to ensuring a smooth, secure, and value-driven transition, while also providing technical and managerial support to an in-house ICT team of four staff.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive ICT strategy aligned with agency goals.
Lead the transition of ICT services to a shared services provider, ensuring continuity, value for money, and fit-for-purpose outcomes.
Provide strategic and technical advice to internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with business leaders to understand and deliver on technology needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships across internal and external teams.
Manage contracts, service agreements, and vendor relationships.
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ensure IT systems and data security, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Oversee day-to-day ICT operations, including staff, budgets, and resources.
