Job Title: Head Swimming Squad Coach

Our organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to oversee the development and progression of our successful swimming squad program at our state-of-the-art facility in Bundaberg, Queensland.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for aquatic programs and extensive experience in coaching competitive swimming. They will be responsible for creating training plans, leading a team of instructors, and promoting the squad program to encourage participation in affiliated swimming competitions.

  • Create comprehensive training plans that showcase progression for swimmers through various levels.
  • Lead a team of instructors to develop the program and pathway from the swimming and water safety program.
  • Actively promote the squad program and foster an environment that encourages participation in affiliated swimming competitions.
  • Evaluate and ensure all squad activities are conducted in a safe environment, adhering to company guidelines and regulations.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Teacher of Competitive Swimming / Competitive Strokes
  • Bronze level qualification – preferred
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • National Police Check
  • Previous experience and success in a comparable role
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
