Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our finance team in Brisbane. As a Financial Ledger Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and taking ownership of your own ledgers, conducting credit assessments, negotiating payment terms, following up on overdue invoices, initiating collection efforts, processing and verifying customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer records, resolving unallocated payments, reconciling payments, and processing payments via a portal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial ledgers
  • Conduct thorough credit assessments to mitigate risk
  • Negotiate favourable payment terms with customers
  • Follow up on overdue invoices and initiate collection efforts as necessary
  • Process and verify customer credit applications in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate customer records, ensuring data integrity and consistency
  • Resolve unallocated payments efficiently and effectively
  • Reconcile payments regularly to ensure accuracy
  • Process payments via a secure online portal
