Procurement Expert Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and experienced procurement expert to join our team in a national role with strategic impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop and execute national procurement strategies aligned with business goals and objectives.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and supply chain efficiencies.
  • Contract & Supplier Coordination:
    • Prepare, evaluate, and administer supplier contracts.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure technical compliance and performance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with various teams to understand procurement needs and technical specifications.
    • Provide procurement insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Risk Awareness:
    • Ensure procurement activities align with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
    • Identify potential risks in supply chain and procurement processes and support mitigation strategies.
  • Technical Support & Documentation:
    • Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, including technical evaluations and compliance records.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes and systems.
    Requirements:
    • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
    • Minimum 8 years' experience in procurement within engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
    • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract administration, and supplier engagement.
    • Proficiency in tools such as SAP, Excel, and electronic document management systems.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across national teams.
