Procurement Transformation Lead

This strategic role involves driving procurement excellence, fostering collaboration with suppliers, and promoting sustainable practices across the organization.

  • Develop and implement a centre-led procurement model that achieves efficiency, compliance, and exceptional value-for-money.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex procurement, vendor performance, and contract lifecycle management to support business objectives.
  • Align procurement strategies with organizational goals, sustainability commitments, and values-based leadership principles.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team with a strong commercial mindset, focusing on service excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Enhance supplier engagement, ensure third-party contracting compliance, and promote probity, transparency, and robust governance throughout the organization.

About You

Our ideal candidate is an experienced change leader who combines commercial acumen with a values-driven approach. They will have a proven track record of delivering results in complex or decentralized environments.

  • Hold tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Law, Finance, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Be a member of a recognized procurement body, such as CIPS or CPP.
  • Possess deep expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement risk, and vendor assurance.
  • Have strong digital and systems capability with ERP/procurement platforms and analytics tools.
  • Demonstrate success in leading multidisciplinary teams and building organizational capability.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ethical procurement, sustainability, and social responsibility.
