Speech and Language Therapist Job Description

About the Role

This role involves working with families to support children's communication development through evidence-based early intervention. As a skilled Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital part in helping children reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide speech therapy services to children aged 0–12, focusing on developing effective communication skills.
  • Collaborate with families to create individualised strategies for supporting children's development, embedding goals into daily routines where possible.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, building their capacity and fostering partnerships within the community.
  • Be an advocate for quality and inclusion, driving continuous learning for yourself, your team, and the families you work with.
  • Contribute to best practice in early childhood intervention by upholding professional values and standards.
Requirements
  • Mid-senior level experience as a Speech Pathologist
  • Degree in Speech Pathology or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
