Job Title:

Social Services Professional - Vulnerable Children and Families

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Services Professional to provide support to vulnerable children, young people, and their families through case management and group work.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in human services, welfare, or social work and experience working with sensitive and personal data. They will also possess strong partnership working skills, including experience of working with other professionals and/or agencies.

In addition, they should have a valid driver's license for Victoria and experience of working in or with adult services and/or health organizations supporting older people and adults at risk.

About the Role:

  • Provide case management and group work support to vulnerable children, young people, and their families.
  • Work with complex issues including drug and alcohol, family violence, mental health, homelessness, and cycles of disadvantage and poverty resulting in chronic neglect and cumulative harm.
  • Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to develop and implement individualized plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Develop and implement individualized plans to address the needs of vulnerable children, young people, and their families.
  • Group Work: Provide group work support to vulnerable children, young people, and their families.
  • Partnership Working: Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to develop and implement individualized plans.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Human Services, Welfare, or Social Work.
  • Driver's License Valid in Victoria.
  • Experience of Partnership Working with Other Professionals and/or Agencies.
  • Experience of Working in or with Adult Services and/or Health Organizations Supporting Older People and Adults at Risk.
