Operations Manager

Job Description:

The successful Operations Manager will lead and develop staff and service providers to complete assigned tasks, meeting or exceeding the agreed site Key Result Areas. The role involves promoting safety, identifying hazards, assessing risks, and implementing control strategies. This includes plant maintenance, minimising Lost Time Injuries (LTIs), Health Effects Incidents (HEIs), and environmental incidents.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote a culture of Zero Harm across the site
  • Lead inspections and testing as scheduled
  • Identify condition-based maintenance needs, obtain approvals, schedule, and complete work
  • Collaborate with technical staff to resolve solar plant performance gaps promptly
  • Manage resource requirements to meet business needs
  • Identify skill gaps and recommend training or recruitment
  • Contribute to the development of key processes and work quality standards
  • Monitor and control job tracking and asset maintenance planning using CMMS system
  • Support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
