Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Youth Counsellor to join our team. This role provides the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people struggling with alcohol or substance misuse issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high quality care to clients and their family/carers to ensure the provision of evidence-based interventions and optimal health outcomes.
  • Assess, counsel and case manage young people with alcohol or substance misuse issues.
  • Provide outreach services to the local community and youth-focused health education programs.

This position requires a strong understanding of adolescent development, substance use disorders, and family dynamics.

Requirements:
  • Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Current AHPRA Registration or Social Work degree and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • Valid NSW Drivers Licence.
