Job Summary

The successful candidate will lead the team in developing, supporting, and maintaining an engaged, productive, and committed workforce.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the coordination and scheduling of service requirements efficiently.
  • Establish preventative maintenance and servicing schedules to ensure operation of equipment.
  • Assist in planning and supporting site works, including rosters, equipment, and labour.
  • Servicing, installations, and repairs of equipment as required.
  • Support, coach, and manage the service/maintenance team.
  • Evaluate spare parts and ensure availability.
  • Lead by example to promote company values, safety, and systems.
  • Liaise with stakeholders for effective service delivery.
  • Complete daily paperwork, including job sheets, toolbox meetings, pre-starts, etc.
  • Manage rostering requirements to meet personnel availability.
  • Prioritize tasks with limited guidance and make decisions in the best interest.
  • Adapt to changes on-site or in the workshop and work effectively within deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate, concise, and timely record-keeping of workshop duties/jobs.
  • Participate in relevant meetings and reviews.
  • Manage hazard reporting and actions open hazards.
  • Respond promptly to communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Generate reports using Word and Excel for stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Experience in a supervisory position or similar role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of plant (diesel and electrical pumps), equipment, pipe works, and installations.
  • High level of problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership ability to develop, empower, and motivate employees.
  • Results-driven, solutions-focused, and highly organized.
  • Exposure to heavy vehicles and machinery.
  • Able to use Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
  • Current Driver's License.
  • Pump experience - Electric and Diesel.
  • Able to read and test Pumps to OEM Pump Curves.
  • MR Truck License.
