Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our CAMHS team as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing services to patients with acute and chronic mental health conditions.

  • Provide expert care to patients with complex mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Conduct assessments and provide diagnostic evaluations
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary
  • Collaborate with community agencies and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Registration as a nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Postgraduate qualifications in mental health nursing or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in mental health nursing, preferably in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
