Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned expert to lead our infrastructure operations. This individual will bring Python software-engineering expertise and Linux experience to the role.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of OpenStack, Kubernetes, and software-defined storage, as well as proficiency in Python software development and operational experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and manage OpenStack, Kubernetes, and software-defined storage infrastructure; implement devsecops for applications on that infrastructure.
  • Operate at scale with automation driven by metrics and code across bare metal networking, kernels, containers, and open source applications.
  • Develop next-generation operations at scale, applying infra-as-code concepts (Python-based).
  • Maintain state-of-the-art infrastructure by driving upgrades and keeping customers on the latest solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Experience with Linux, Linux networking and storage
  • Strong Python software development skills
  • Operational experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, accountability
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with OpenStack or Kubernetes deployment/operations
  • Familiarity with public or private cloud management
