Infrastructure Lead

This is a rare hands-on Infrastructure Lead to step within the sustainability sector in an autonomous position shaping high impact processes. If you enjoy coding and automation, and want a role where you have a builder mentality this is the role for you.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the end-to-end IT function across the business

  • Automate manual tasks and streamline internal operations through scripting and coding

  • Maintain and support our Linux-based infrastructure

  • Manage and monitor Postgres and legacy MySQL production databases (no external DBA support)

  • Administer Google Workspace

  • Interface with our MSP where necessary - but you're the expert on the ground

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience working solo or in small IT teams, preferably in fast-paced or high-growth environments

  • Strong BASH scripting proficiency

  • Ability to read and understand JavaScript and Python

  • Comfort operating outside of the Microsoft stack - we don't use it

  • Hands-on experience managing Postgres and out-of-support MySQL in production

  • Prior experience with Google Workspace administration
