Expert Infrastructure Advisor

We are seeking an experienced expert to provide technical guidance across various infrastructure domains. As a Lead Infrastructure SME, you will be responsible for translating functional requirements into solutions and delivering initiatives that drive business outcomes.

This role involves leading design and architectural documentation, mentoring engineers, and supporting platform owners to ensure successful delivery. You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to drive innovation and deliver results.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise across infrastructure domains, including servers, operating systems, storage, backup systems, virtualisation tools, scripting, and automation. They should have hands-on experience with core technologies, particularly the VMware stack, VRA and VRO specifications, and deploying VRA instances and blueprints.

Proficiency in Python and Java scripting is essential, along with experience managing integrations in VRA/VRO environments and a solid understanding of dynamic types within VRO deployments.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive and innovative mindset, with the ability to lead and influence across the organisation and respond effectively in dynamic environments. In addition to strong problem-solving and analytical skills, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, container technologies, and business continuity practices is also important.
