About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our team at JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Pool Bar, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of service and quality, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Pool Bar team, including recruiting, training, and developing staff to achieve exceptional service standards.
- Ensure the highest standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service.
- Supervise daily shift operations, including opening and closing procedures, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Utilize the Labor Management System to effectively schedule business demands and track employee time and attendance.
- Operate all department equipment as necessary and maintain a high level of technical knowledge.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory or higher experience in a similar role.
- 5-star service experience and a strong understanding of luxury hospitality.
- Ability to lead a team, drive effective payroll control, and develop ongoing training programs.
- Outgoing and approachable attitude, honesty, humble, and respectful nature.
