About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to join our team at JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the Bar/Lounge, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train bar staff to ensure high-quality service and presentation of drinks.
- Monitor and maintain par stocks, inventory, and equipment to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal beverage and liquor laws.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with the food and beverage team to ensure seamless service and high-quality products.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a high-volume bar or lounge environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and wine, with the ability to create innovative and unique drink menus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality service.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage budgets and inventory.
