Disability Support Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Disability Support Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team.

  • The successful candidate will provide support to participants, families and/or carers through assessment and person-centred planning.
  • Evaluate, develop and deliver evidence-based support plans within a complex support environment.
  • The specialist will work with a multidisciplinary team to identify individualised goals and practical strategies aligned with the positive behaviour support framework.
  • A key aspect of this role is ensuring that individual plans reflect participants' goals, passions and strengths.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for building knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support participants - family, carers, friends etc.

About you:

  • A degree-level qualification as an allied health professional or similar experience is required.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload are essential.
  • A proactive attitude and motivation towards improvement and new ideas are highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector is a must.
