Senior Suicide Prevention Specialist


Job Description

The successful applicant will lead, develop, implement and coordinate a broad range of suicide prevention policies, program initiatives, activities and intervention strategies across the Northern Territory.

This role involves providing Secretariat and policy support to the Northern Territory Suicide Prevention Coordination Committee.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement suicide prevention policies and programs.
  • Coordinate activities and intervention strategies.
  • Provide Secretariat and policy support to the Northern Territory Suicide Prevention Coordination Committee.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants must have relevant qualifications and experience in mental health, alcohol and other drugs or a related field.

They must also have strong communication, interpersonal and project management skills.
