As a Psychiatrist with Clinical Expertise, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to mental health consumers, leading a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of clinical policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in mental health services, ensuring high-quality care and best practice standards.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Contribute to the development of research and education programs, ensuring the advancement of mental health knowledge and practice.
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification.
  • Be registered with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration.
  • Hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
  • Demonstrate ongoing participation in continuing professional development.
