Clinical Leader in Mental Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Leader in Mental Health to join our team at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network. As a Psychiatrist with Clinical Expertise, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to mental health consumers, leading a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of safe and effective clinical practices.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in mental health services, ensuring high-quality care and best practice standards.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, promoting collaboration and effective communication among healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
- Contribute to the development of research and education programs, promoting evidence-based practice and professional development among healthcare staff.
- Hold a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent qualification.
- Be registered with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration.
- Hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
