We are seeking a highly skilled Care and Support Assistant to provide support to various departments within our organization. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide social support and companionship to clients
- Offer personal care services, including assistance with daily living tasks
- Assist with domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry
- Help clients with shopping, meal planning, and preparation
- Promptly administer medication to clients as required
- Provide safe and reliable transportation services for clients
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (or higher qualifications)
- Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle
- First Aid Certification and ability to use basic medical equipment
- Good English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations (may be required)
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and positive attitude
- Previous experience working in aged care or healthcare
- NDIS clearance (desired but not essential)
- Manual Handling Training and Medication Competency Training
- Working With Children Check (if applicable)
- Spoken languages other than English (an asset)
