What does a Support Worker do?
Job DescriptionA Support Worker provides care and support to clients in their homes. This involves personal care such as showering, dressing and managing medication schedules.
In addition to personal care, the Support Worker may also assist with domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking and grocery shopping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal care and assistance with daily living tasks
- Domestic assistance including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Assistance with grocery shopping and other errands
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent
- Must-Haves: Driver's license, reliable car, comprehensive insurance, WWCC and First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- Tech-Friendly: Comfortable using smartphones and tablets
