Risk Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Risk Compliance Specialist to join our team on a 24 month contract basis.
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in strengthening our compliance capability within the first line of defence. As a Senior Analyst, you will be instrumental in promoting a proactive compliance culture, identifying and mitigating regulatory risks, and ensuring adherence to internal standards and external obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Business Unit teams in embedding effective compliance controls;
- Translate regulatory requirements into practical solutions;
- Contribute to risk-in-change assessments and drive remediation and monitoring activities;
- Collaborate across divisions and contribute to governance forums;
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in regulatory risk, ideally gained within financial services. You should have a solid understanding of APRA, ASIC, and other regulatory bodies, as well as experience designing and implementing compliance controls that are both effective and practical.
