Reporting to the Head of HR Compliance & Employee Relations, you will be part of the Line 1 Risk team for the P&C team. Your focus will be to assist with the design, implementation, and embedding of our risk and compliance frameworks, supporting the People and Culture function here at Sportsbet.

The Risk & Compliance Specialist will drive compliance activities, quality assurance, and operational control testing across our P&C function to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and priorities.

This role involves interfacing with the business, Risk & Compliance Business Partner, and Legal Team to seek legal and compliance advice, translating it into operational guidelines for front-line teams.

Responsibilities Include:
  1. Implement risk and compliance policies and processes to identify, assess, report, and monitor regulatory obligations and risks through control testing.
  2. Collaborate with teams to ensure strong control environments, managing risks and compliance obligations effectively.
  3. Act as the key contact for breach & incident investigations and work with SMEs towards resolution and communication.
  4. Review and oversee assurance of key business processes and controls to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations.
  5. Ensure alignment with Flutter Entertainment Group's policies and frameworks.
About You:
  1. Proactive, hands-on approach, including preparing compliance dashboards and materials.
  2. Experience in implementing risk and compliance management within internal governance, preferably in People & Culture.
  3. Experience with internal controls, including design and implementation.
  4. Experience in risk management, including identifying and articulating people obligations.
  5. Ability to lead and contribute to governance initiatives and deploy quality assurance reviews.
