Job Title: Rail Service Maintenance Specialist

About Us:

We're seeking a skilled Rail Service Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the execution of maintenance activities on site in accordance with contractual KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure monitoring, analysing and reporting on-site system performance
  • Ensure the execution of first level of troubleshooting on site in case of issues
  • Ensure logs and dump files download from on-site equipment and provide first level of analysis
  • Ensure monitoring of the day-to-day maintenance performance and provide technical reporting to stakeholders
  • Ensure the execution of on-site maintenance task ensuring the application of OHS and STS HSMS rules
  • Ensure the availability of local stock and repair process activation

Requirements:

  • Electrical Trade qualification (i.e. Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician) is essential
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar field, including RPEQ, is desirable
  • 2-5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the Rail Signal industry with demonstrated capability and skills in:
    • Electrical equipment and high-risk environments
    • Use of Test equipment (e.g. Digital and Analog multi-meters, insulation meters, etc.)
    • Use of Computer based test software
    • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
    • Knowledge of Incident/accident investigation
    • Knowledge of ERP and Configuration Management tools
    • Knowledge of Database tools
