And that's where you come in.DescriptionHitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Wayside and On-Board Service Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic.
The position is based in Wulkuraka, Queensland .Key Responsibilities:Ensure the execution of maintenance activities on site in accordance with the contractual KPIs Ensure monitoring, analysing and reporting on-site system performance Ensure the execution of first level of troubleshooting on site in case of issues Ensure logs and dump files download from on-site equipment and provide first level of analysis Ensure monitoring of the day-to-day maintenance performance and provide technical reporting to the Client.
Ensure the execution of on-site maintenance task ensuring the application of OHS and STS HSMS rules Ensure the availability of local stock and repair process activation Skills & Experience:Electrical Trade qualification (i.e.
Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician) is essential Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or similar field, including RPEQ, is desirable 2-5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the Rail Signal industry with demonstrated capability and skills in: Electrical equipment and high-risk environments Use of Test equipment (e.g.
Digital and Analog multi-meters, insulation meters, etc.) Use of Computer based test software Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of Incident/accident investigation Knowledge of ERP and Configuration Management tools Knowledge of Database tools At Hitachi Rail, we know that a diverse business is a sustainable business.
