Outside School Hours Care Service Coordinator

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Outside School Hours Care Service Coordinator to join our team at Hills Adventist College in Castle Hill. This is a casual position that offers the opportunity to work with children, develop your skills and build meaningful relationships.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service, developing and delivering high-quality activities for children, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with colleagues, families, and the school community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the service, including staff supervision, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Activity Planning: Develop, plan, and deliver daily quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value.
  • Child Safety: Ensure a strong focus on child safety, supervision, and mandatory reporting.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and serve healthy food options for the children.
  • Relationship Building: Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, families, school leaders, and the school community.
Requirements
  • A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Age Care, or equivalent.
  • A current Employee Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willingness to obtain).
  • Child Protection Training Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
