Job Title: Social Worker

We are seeking a dedicated social work professional to join our Cared For Children team in Sefton.

The successful candidate will be part of a committed workforce driving down caseloads and achieving good outcomes for children and young people. They will have the opportunity to work from home, access car parking facilities, and receive training and supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To undertake work within our Cared For social work teams
  • To contribute to a committed workforce driving down caseloads and achieving good outcomes for children and young people

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
  • Social Work England registration
  • Enhanced and in-date DBS certificate
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to make good decisions based on information available
  • Ability to work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set-ups
  • Possession of knowledge of service needs
  • Competent IT skills and ability to navigate electronic file/recording systems
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files
  • Flexible approach to work and working hours when needed
