About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investigator to join our team at the Greyhound Welfare and Integrity Commission. As an Investigator, you will play a critical role in upholding the integrity of greyhound racing in NSW, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and promoting animal welfare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct state-wide investigations into greyhound racing-related matters, including animal cruelty and related offenses.
  • Develop and implement effective investigation strategies to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including industry participants, to promote a culture of integrity and compliance.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on regulatory matters to support the Commission's decision-making processes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in investigation and regulatory compliance, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Excellent interviewing and fact-finding skills, with the ability to conduct thorough and meticulous investigations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and discretion.
