**About the Role**
The ideal candidate for this Enforcement Investigators position will be inquisitive, have an analytical mindset, and be comfortable working with complex information in a dynamic environment.
As a key member of our team, you will contribute to investigations of suspected misconduct and help obtain enforcement outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the scoping, planning, and conduct of investigations.
- Identifying and overcoming complex issues arising during investigations.
- Working as part of multi-disciplinary enforcement teams to project-manage matters and resources.
- Employing a range of evidence gathering techniques, including conducting compulsory examinations, interviewing witnesses, and preparing affidavits.
- Utilizing ASIC's evidence management technology to derive insights from data, information, and documents.
- Contributing to preparing and compiling criminal, civil, and administrative briefs.
- Preparing administrative briefs for consideration by an ASIC Delegate.
**About You**
To succeed in this role, you will have extensive experience in an investigative role, ideally working on complex civil or criminal matters in a regulatory or government setting.
Additional requirements include:
- Case/project management and evidence gathering skills.
- Experience in preparing briefs of evidence for criminal and/or civil proceedings.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, including the Corporations Act and ASIC Act.
- Demonstrated ability to use digital investigative tools.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience analyzing large amounts of data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
