Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

Sydney Water has partnered with a consortium to deliver facilities services as part of the P4S program in Sydney's Southern Region.

This role entails onsite electrical construction supervision for the program of works. The successful candidate will lead project teams and own the outcome for construction delivery across Networks and Treatment plants in the Southern Region.

The day-to-day tasks include:

  • C coordinating the work and performance of multiple teams and subcontractors to achieve outcomes.
  • Ensuring compliance with commercial and financial costs within authority limits.
  • Reading and understanding plans, reviewing design documentation, reading drawings, and providing constructive review and implementing final designs.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks prior to works commencing, communicating with stakeholders, and contributing to building a risk management culture.
  • Planning and procuring plant, materials, and resources to fulfill project requirements.
  • Managing access and movement of materials, plant, and equipment to and within the site and work area in a safe and cost-efficient manner.

The role requires Supervision of Electrical based projects, which may involve Supervision of Civil and Mechanical works with support to ensure project outcomes are achieved.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess an Australian Electrical Trade Qualification, Electrical Licence - Qualified Supervisor or Contractor, substantial industry experience in Industrial electrical work, technical competency and understanding in the area of expertise, people and Performance Management of subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour, demonstrated leadership in health, safety, and environmental management, current Drivers licence, and White card.
