Accounting Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports and taxation returns for a diverse range of clients.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and taxation returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Gain exposure to various business structures, including individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, and Self-Managed Super Funds.
  • Process Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) using accounting software such as Xero, Reckon, and MYOB.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, including the Australian Taxation Office.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A completed or currently completing university degree in accounting, business, or a related field.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information to clients.
  • The ability to multitask, work independently, prioritize tasks, and take direction from managers.
