The Planned Surgery Reform Project Officer supports activities aimed at improving surgery within the health service. The role aims to increase planned surgery throughput, address long waiting patients, and enhance theatre utilisation.

Main objectives include expanding same-day surgery pathways, implementing a default same day surgery policy, increasing theatre efficiency, and introducing high-intensity theatre lists.
