Gameplay Animator

We are seeking a skilled Gameplay Animator to join our experienced animation team and contribute to the development of a contemporary vision for EA's Skate franchise.

About the Role:
  • Create in-game animations from motion capture data that meet the project's style and quality standards.
  • Work closely with the gameplay team to establish and create animations that meet design requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical animators and engineers to ensure character motions appear dynamic and fluid in-game.
  • Manage and solve technical problems with technical artists, animators, and engineers.
  • Implement animation content using EA's proprietary Frostbite engine and editor.
Requirements:
  • At least 3+ years of experience working on AAA console games.
  • Experience motion editing and key-framing characters to a high standard.
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy and biomechanics.
  • High proficiency in Motion Builder or Maya.
  • Experience working with designers and engineers to brainstorm and iterate on results in the engine.
