About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified individual to lead our Early Childhood Education program as an Academic Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the future of early childhood education in our growing program.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and ensure all degree programs are delivered in accordance with University academic standards and quality requirements.
  • Participate in internal and external course reviews as required.
  • Tutor and teach in several courses within the Early Childhood Education programs.
  • Provide high-level student consultation and academic counselling services.
  • Analyze current academic processes and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.
  • Nurture strong working relationships with stakeholders across the institution.
  • Lead the development of an academic team across disciplines.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:

  • A Doctoral qualification in a relevant field or equivalent accreditation and standing.
  • Proven experience teaching higher education programs to international and domestic students.
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian curriculum content and pedagogy in early childhood education.
