About the Role
The Australian Energy Market Operator is seeking a highly skilled professional to drive the company's positioning in policy, market design, and regulatory processes associated with distributed energy resources, consumer energy resources, and traditional demand-side activation.
This role will lead a team of market designers to develop proposals for reform and market design changes, influencing processes with government, market bodies, and industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and drive alignment with AEMO's strategic reform position associated with the integration and recognition of distributed energy resources, consumer energy resources, and traditional demand-side activation.
- Lead AEMO's positioning into all policy and regulatory processes associated with these emerging technologies.
- Manage a highly competent team of market designers to engage across processes with government, market bodies, and industry.
What You Will Be Doing
This role will involve developing and driving alignment with AEMO's strategic reform position, leading the company's positioning in policy and regulatory processes, and managing a team of market designers to engage with government, market bodies, and industry.
Requirements
