Security Operations Specialist

The role of a senior security specialist is pivotal in safeguarding an organization's digital assets. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining robust security protocols to protect corporate systems, cloud infrastructure and endpoints.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and enforce comprehensive security policies to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities and optimal system performance.
- Analyse potential security threats and vulnerabilities in real-time, taking swift action to mitigate risks.
- Maintain a deep understanding of security fundamentals, including authentication, authorization and cryptography.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with IT teams to share insights on emerging threats and best practices.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on technical security operations and security tooling.
- Expertise in SIEM tools (notably Splunk) and network security technologies, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
