Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our category management strategy and drive long-term sustainable economic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders to develop procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement category strategies across the organization to deliver the procurement plan, including sourcing and contract management.
  • Provide strategic guidance and advice to technical, commercial, and supply staff regarding capital and operating acquisitions.
  • Establish, implement, and review service contract templates, procedures, and policies.
  • Lead negotiations for high-value contracts as required.
  • Evaluate and monitor contracts to ensure the organization's interests are protected.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary degree in engineering, business, or commerce.
  • Contract management or procurement certification is desirable.
  • At least 10 years of experience in managing major contracts and procurement leadership.
  • Experience in the mining industry is highly valued.
