Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Facilities Security Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our store and its employees.

As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure environment that supports the well-being of our customers and colleagues. You will be responsible for managing access to the store, providing administrative support for risk prevention and compliance tasks, and monitoring CCTV systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage access to the store, ensuring that only authorized personnel have entry.
  2. Provide administrative support for risk prevention and compliance tasks, including audits, incident reporting, database management, and filing.
  3. Monitor CCTV systems, conducting investigations, responding quickly and efficiently to alarms, and initiating emergency response procedures where required.
  4. Assist in ensuring the store is compliant with all relevant rules, guidelines, and legislative requirements.
  5. Support a Risk & Compliance culture by developing leadership and conscious approach in identifying and implementing systems to detect, analyze and reduce business loss, financial impact, prevent incidents and accidents in the store.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment an asset.
